HOW TO GET THERE?
Thanks to an integrated transport network Manchester is one of the most accessible cities in the UK for both national and international visitors.
AIRWAY
Manchester Airport is the global gateway to the North of England, and the third largest airport in the UK. Manchester Airport offers a whole host of facilities and services to help ensure hassle-free travel. These include tax and duty free savings, free WiFi and Escape Lounges in all three terminals.
Manchester Airport offers excellent connections to the city centre and beyond with a regional railway station and Metrolink station onsite. On arrival the journey to the city centre is easy by train, Metrolink or taxi, taking around 20 minutes.
RAILWAY
Direct services operate between London and Manchester run every 20 minutes (First-Trenitalia will run the service form December 2019) and there are frequent alternate services from all major UK towns and cities. There are three main stations in the city centre: Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Victoria. With direct rail services from across the country, getting here is easy.
ROAD TRIP
Manchester is well connected to the rest of the UK via excellent motorway links. The M60 ring road connects the city to motorways north, south east and west.
In addition to the option of driving yourself, National Express and Megabus provide services from all over the country into Chorlton Street Coach Station in the heart of the city centre.
